So rizomorph is still creating video idents, DJing and doing all things technical and design wise for StorySLAM:LIve. Above is the video loop created for the September 2013 event which used the Southbank Centre’s seasonal them of “Revolution”.
Below is a short screen recording showing how it was used within the bespoke show control application I developed for StorySLAM:Live which provides video playback and a timer with animations sync’d to the timer’s functionality. Once I’ve made the video and/or animation for a given event/theme, it’s dropped into the application along with any other films or sounds that are to played during the event. An onscreen interface and keyboard controls allow the operator (usually me!) to start, stop and reset the timer; play the loop and/or any other video.
